Description
McClure’s preface (Chicago, January 30, 1877) explains that the stories were taken from Moody’s Tabernacle and Hippodrome meetings and from addresses Moody himself revised, then “properly classified and arranged” under alphabetical headings. Short “Gold” paragraphs — Moody’s terse sayings — are scattered through the volume. Scripture references in this web edition link to the New King James Version on UECF.NET.
