SCENE I - IN THE BEGINNING/ JESUS’ MIRACLE

Dramatization: Jesus’ Baptism and Beginning of His Ministry (Fulfillment of Prophecy from Scriptures)

Narration: Luke 19:29-40 

SCENE II - JESUS’ TRIUMPHAL ENTRY
(Audience is requested to sing with the participants and wave their hands to welcome Jesus as He enters the city of Jerusalem.) 

Dramatization: Procession/Hosanna Song 

Welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem

Narration: Matthew 26:17-35 

SCENE III - THE LAST SUPPER 

Dramatization: Jesus eats His last meal with the disciples and foretells of His death through the breaking of His body and shedding of His blood

Narration: Matthew 26:36-56 

SCENE IV – GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE 

Dramatization: Jesus’ agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and His arrest. Special Narration Song by Rita Paul (song enclosed in program)

Narration: Matthew 26:69-75 

SCENE V – PETER’S DENIAL 

Dramatization: The disciple Peter denies knowing Jesus 

Narration:    John 18:12 -24 

SCENE VI – IN THE COURT OF CAIAPHAS 

Dramatization: Caiaphas, the Jewish High Priest frames charges against Jesus 

Narration: Mark: 15:1-15 

SCENE VII – JESUS BEFORE PONTIUS PILATE 

Dramatization: Trial of Jesus before Pontius Pilate, the Roman Governor who sentences Jesus to death

AUDIENCE IS REQUIRED TO BE PRAYERFUL AND SILENT. DO NOT MOVE. NO CELL PHONES, NO PHOTOGRAPHY AND NO VIDEO. Narration: Mark 15:16-21 

SCENE VIII – JOURNEY TO GOLGOTHA 

Dramatization: Jesus carries the cross on a journey to Golgotha, the place of the skull

Narration: Mark 15: 21-39 

SCENE IX –  THE CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS 

Dramatization: Jesus is nailed to the cross.

SCENE X – JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA 

Dramatization: Burial of Jesus

SCENE XI- SEVEN WORDS OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS

Meditation and application of the last Seven Words of Christ on the Cross

First Word: Luke 23:34 “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” 

Second Word: Luke 23:43 “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise” 

Third Word: John 19:26-27 “Woman, behold thy son! ...“Behold thy mother!” 

Fourth Word: Matthew 27:46 “Eli, Eli, la’ma sa-bach’tha-ni? (My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” 

Fifth Word: John 19:28 “I thirst.” 

Sixth Word: John 19:30 “It is finished.” 

Seventh Word: Luke 23:46 “Father into Thy hands I commend my spirit.” 

Narration: Luke 24:1-10 

SCENE XI1 – RESURRECTION OF JESUS 

Dramatization: Jesus rises from the dead. 

SCENE XIII – THE CONCLUSION / Children will take a bow and leave the stage
